The 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) wrapped up in Shanghai with China taking the top spot in the team rankings. This prestigious competition gathered young mathematical prodigies from over 120 countries and regions, showcasing exceptional talent on a global stage.
China’s team demonstrated an impeccable performance, with each of its six members securing a gold medal. The United States followed closely, securing the second position, while Russia and Singapore claimed the third and fourth places, respectively. The event distributed a total of 55 gold, 105 silver, and 189 bronze medals, alongside honorable mentions for 141 participants who showed commendable mathematical prowess.
