This concept, introduced by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in 2023, signifies a technological breakthrough that transitions an innovation from being an emerging concept to gaining widespread adoption, thereby revolutionizing industries and user experiences.
Wang Xingxing, the founder and CEO of Unitree Robotics, a prominent Chinese humanoid robot manufacturer, shared insights on the potential timeline for such a breakthrough in embodied intelligence. Speaking at the 2026 World Robot Conference in Beijing on August 20, Wang suggested that this tipping point might be reached within two to three years, likening it to the rapid advancements seen with ChatGPT, although he acknowledged that a more gradual development could extend the timeline to five to ten years.
